House Rules
Bomb Pots
Allowed as the first hand after a dealer change.
May be NLH or PLO based on table consensus.
All bomb pots are double board.
Running It Twice
Allowed for heads up all in situations only.
Not allowed on bomb pots.
Must be agreed upon before the next street is exposed.
English Only at the Table
Please speak English while physically at the table, even if not involved in a hand.
You are welcome to speak non-English languages while away from the table.
Breaks
If you get up from the table without your stack, your time will continue to be deducted. After three consecutive missed big blinds, your stack will be moved to the cage and you will be removed from the table.
30 minute meal breaks are allowed once per night per player. This will reserve your seat without deducting time. Please check in at the front desk to get marked “Away” and “Returned.”
Min/Max Buy-Ins and Short Buys
Unless otherwise noted (such as for a special event), first buy-ins will have to be within a set min/max range that is preset for each individual game and stake.
Rebuys must occur while the player does not have an active hand, and may bring the player’s new stack value to anything within the min/max range for the game they are playing.
Example 1: A player has $300 in their stack at 2/5 NL (buy-in range = $200 - 1,000). They can add $0 - 700 to their stack.
Example 2: A player has $35 in their stack at 1/3 NL (buy-in range = $100 - 500). They can add $65 - 465 to their stack.
Exceptions:
If there is no list: All players at the table agree to allow the rebuying player to come in for a “short buy.”
If there is a list: Same as above, with a limit of one short buy per player.
There is no exception for exceeding the maximum buy-in.
$5 Increments on 2/5 Post-Flop Bets
Table Change Requests
Must be made through the front desk regardless of whether it’s the same or different game.
Table and Seating Policy
Tables are opened based on in-person demand. Members who are on the waitlist have priority for open seats over walk-ins. However, members who are physically present will be seated before somebody on the waitlist who is not physically present. The easiest way to join the waitlist is on the PokerAtlas app. Staff can also manually add to the waitlist over the phone or in person.
Members must receive a table card from the front desk in order to be seated at a table. Players may request seat and table changes with the front desk. Staff will notify the player when the requested seat/table is available and provide the appropriate table card.
Protection Games
When there is more than one table of the same game and stakes, the house has the right to control the seating of players to best preserve the viability of existing games.
Generally, the first open table of a given game and stake will be designated as the main game. The second open table of the same game and stake will be designated as a protection game. Players may be offered the option to move from the protection game to an open seat on the main table based on session time (seniority).
If no player from the protection game wants to move to the main game, incoming players may be sent directly to the main table or the most recent player to sit at the protection game may be forced to move at management’s discretion.
Any subsequent tables of the same game and stake will be opened as protection games that feed into longer running tables. Protection games can become main games, and vice versa, based on factors including run time, turnover rate, waitlists, and at the discretion of management.
Players who refuse to move when asked will be removed from the game and may not play at any table of that game and stake for one hour.
